Vermox is an oral antiparasitic drug with a broad-spectrum anthelmintic activity. Vermox is used to treat gastrointestinal parasitic infections in children aged 2 years and older, as well as adults. Dosage regimen of Vermox for the treatment of parasitic infections (besides pinworm infections) involves the use of Vermox 200mg per day in two divided doses for three days in a row. To treat pinworm infections, a single dose of Vermox 100mg should only be taken.
Missed Dose
If you forget your single dose of Vermox, take it immediately when you remember. Do the same if you miss a regular scheduled dose of Vermox and it is not close to the next prescribed dose of this anthelmintic agent. If it is so, skip the missed Vermox tablet.
More Information
For successful treatment of parasitic infections, reuse of Vermox anthelmintic agent can be required. A repeated single course of treatment of pinworm infection is prescribed 14-28 days after the first treatment course of parasitic infections. Re-treatment of other types of gastrointestinal helminthiasis should be started 21 days after the administration of the last Vermox dose.
Storage
