Dramammine is motion sickness medicine. It blocks histamine H1 receptors and m-cholinoreceptors of the central nervous system (CNS).
Dramammine is used to depress vestibular system of the inner ear by affecting otoliths at the first place, and in high doses, it is affecting semicircular canals.
Dramammine provides antiemetic, anorexigenic, sedative, moderate anti-allergic effects, and eliminates dizziness.
Effect from Dramammine is usually achieved in 15-30 minutes and maintains during the next 3-6 hours after intake.

How to take Dramammine
The usual dose for adults and children of 12 and older is 50-100mg 2-3 times per day. The maximal daily intake dose should not exceed 350mg
Children in the age from 3 to 6 years old should take 12.5-25 mg 2-3 times per day; children in the age from 7 to 12 years – from 25 to 50 mg 2-3 times per day.
Medication is taken before the meal.
For kinetosis prevention, 50-100mg of Dramammine should be taken in 30 minutes before the trip.
Contraindications
• epilepsy;
• acute exudative and herpetic (vesicular) dermatosis;
• Children under 3 years;
• Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug;
• Drimin drug is contraindicated during pregnancy;

Side effects
